Who Are We?

Hello, my name is Ignacio Gomez Gonzalez, and today I want to share the story behind how Commodus Logistic Dispatch came to life.

Back in August 2017, I made a decision that would change my life: I bought my first sprinter van. At the time, university and traditional career paths weren’t my focus, so I sought an alternative way to build a future. I started taking trips across the United States, transporting freight and earning a living on the road. For two years, I was all over the country, working with various warehouses and companies, providing logistics services. Along the way, I gathered countless receipts and contacts, creating a valuable network of warehouses and businesses that needed transportation solutions.

As time passed, I realized something: I had accumulated a wealth of knowledge and connections that could be turned into something bigger. I started to think, “How can I use all of this to create more value?” That’s when the idea hit me – why not leverage this information to build my own logistics dispatching company? I saw clear gaps in the industry and knew I could improve the way services were being provided. From there, Commodus Logistic Dispatch began to take shape.

In 2022, after the pandemic changed the landscape of many businesses, I officially started my company – albeit informally at first. I took small steps, gaining clients, gathering feedback, and continuously improving our services. I connected with more and more collaborators each day, building a community of drivers and businesses that shared the same vision for efficiency, reliability, and growth.

What started as a single sprinter van has now evolved into a growing logistics company with the goal of connecting more independent drivers with the right opportunities. At Commodus LD, we don’t just aim to provide transportation services; we aim to transform the way logistics are handled, making it seamless, professional, and efficient for everyone involved.

This journey has been a testament to resilience, and I’m excited to continue expanding, learning, and delivering exceptional service. Together, we’re driving success forward.
